Rare Breeds: Now Available in Print

Posted: October 9, 2016 in Uncategorized

rare-breeds-cover-thumbErik Hofstatter’s demented novella, Rare Breeds, is now available in a print edition from Amazon. The book includes cover art and four interior black-and-white paintings by artist Jack Larson. The story, guaranteed to disturb, is introduced by the legendary horror author, Paul Kane.

Surprisingly, this is the first ever Halloween release from Dark Silo. We’re pleased to unleash this dark tale in our favorite month of the year.

Erik Hofstatter, an unabashed “schlock horror” writer, is a member
of the Horror Writers Association. Born in the wild lands of the Czech Republic, he roamed Europe before subsequently settling on English shores, erik-smallstudying creative writing at the London School of Journalism. He now dwells in Kent, where he can be encountered consuming copious amounts of mead and tyrannizing local peasantry.

We at Dark Silo prefer our Colorado micro-brews, but tonight we tip a mug and tyrannize a peasant in his honor. Congratulations on the release of one of the more original horror stories we’ve ever encountered.

This is great. I just reviewed it at beavisthebookhead.com Amazon and Goodreads.
